A Different Approach to Groundbait
Gold Medal Black Majic is a special non-cereal groundbait enriched with amino acids, natural herbs and organic attractants.
It has been developed to create a dark, attractive cloud in the water, encouraging fish to investigate your swim without relying on large quantities of cereal-based feed.
This makes Black Majic particularly interesting when fish are cautious, feeding lightly or responding to fine particles suspended in the water.
It can be used on its own or blended with other Gold Medal groundbaits to alter their colour and attraction.
What Makes Black Majic Special?
- Non-cereal formula: Designed to provide attraction without relying on traditional cereal-based groundbait ingredients.
- Dark cloud effect: Fine particles disperse through the water and create a visible feeding signal.
- Amino acids: Included as part of the attractive ingredient blend.
- Natural herbs: Add a distinctive scent to the mixture.
- Versatile use: Suitable for experimenting with on rivers, canals and stillwaters.
- Mixing additive: Can be combined with other groundbaits to modify their colour and properties.
How to Prepare Black Majic
- Start with the dry mix: Place the required quantity in a mixing bowl or groundbait bucket.
- Add water gradually: Introduce small amounts of water while stirring thoroughly.
- Check the consistency: Aim for a soft but firm mixture that can be formed into balls when required.
- Add loose feed if needed: Introduce small amounts of your chosen particles or hookbait samples according to the conditions.
- Feed your swim: Form suitable-sized balls and introduce them carefully to create a cloud of fine particles as the mix breaks down.
CHAMPION’S TIP: Experiment with small quantities first. In difficult conditions, the right amount of attraction can be more important than introducing a large amount of feed.
